Will you start with gratitude?
Regularly writing down what you’re grateful for enables you to fully embrace positive emotion.
A range of studies highlight that those who practice this often deal with difficult situations greater, sleep better and are more self-confident.
At the very start of your day, practice thinking of three things you’re thankful for.
Write them down.
Check out this powerful story from Psychology instructor and researcher Christina Costa. She links a personal story to the science of gratitude.
Will you eat that frog?
There's an old saying that, if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day.
Brian Tracy wrote the International Bestseller ‘Eat That Frog’ which uses the phrase as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day first.
You know the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also probably the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.
Following your gratitude list, write down your ‘frog’ task at the start of each day.

Will you recognise courage?
It’s easy to prioritise our time and energy towards those creating waves or making the most noise.
Who’s the person(s) in your team, family or friends at the moment that is quietly going about things? Trying their best.
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying: I will try again tomorrow.
As a leader, try to get alongside them.
How?
Notice their effort. Their commitment. Their consistency.
Celebrate them in private. Celebrate them in public.
P.S. Keep winning!
