Will you slow down?

We celebrate speed.

Quick wins. Fast growth. Instant replies.

But high performers aren’t just fast—they know when to pause, too.

Slowing down is often where deep clarity lives. It's where we reset expectations, evaluate priorities, and make intentional progress.

Take 10 minutes this week to journal on this:

  • What's making me feel rushed?

  • What's one thing I can delay, delegate, or delete?

Sometimes the most strategic move isn’t speeding up, it’s stopping to think.

Will you make progress feel obvious?

We often give up, not because we’re failing but because we can’t see that we’re winning.

Humans crave visible progress.

So don’t just track results, celebrate the small steps.

Here are a few ways to make progress more obvious:

  • Start a daily “done” list alongside your to-do list – this feels good!

  • Use a visual tracker

  • End each day by writing down one thing you moved forward – no matter how small

Progress fuels motivation, not the other way around.

What’s one area where you are progressing but haven’t acknowledged it?

Name it. Track it. Watch your momentum grow.

Will you align before you accelerate?

It’s tempting to jump into problem-solving mode.

But great teams don't just move fast, they move together.

Before your next team meeting or project kick off, ask your team:

  • Do we all understand the same goal?

  • Have we clarified the "why" behind it?

  • Who owns what, and by when?

Alignment saves energy. It prevents wasted cycles. And it builds trust.
