Will You Lead Without the Full Picture?

We all love a clear game plan, but often leadership feels more like stepping into fog:
• You don’t know what’s coming three months from now
• Priorities are shifting faster than you can update the plan
• People want answers you simply don’t have
• The pressure to “see ahead” can feel overwhelming

Here’s the truth: you don’t need the whole roadmap to take the next step. Progress beats paralysis.

Ask yourself:
• What’s the one thing I know I can do today?
• Am I stuck worrying about what-ifs instead of acting on what’s real?
• Who can I lean on for perspective right now?

Challenge:
Define the next actionable step, however small, and take it. Action creates clarity.

Will You Lead Yourself With Confidence?

When the path isn’t clear, your mindset matters. Leaders who navigate uncertainty well trust their preparation, their values, and their ability to adapt in the moment.

Ask yourself:
• Am I leading out of fear of what I don’t know, or confidence in what I do know?
• Which principles or priorities can guide me, even if the plan is uncertain?
• What helps me stay calm when I feel disoriented?

Challenge:
Before your next decision, pause and ground yourself. Write down the two or three priorities that matter most right now. Let those guide your next move.

Will You Guide Others Through Fog?

At work or at home, people don’t need you to have every answer — they need honesty, steadiness, and the courage to move forward together.

Ask yourself:
• Am I clear about what we know and what we don’t?
• Do I share the step we can take, even if the rest is unknown?
• Do I remind people of the bigger purpose when the plan feels cloudy?

Challenge:
Gather your team or family and share: Here’s what we know, here’s what we don’t, and here’s the step we’ll take together. Moving forward side by side is what builds trust.

This is a good time to remind yourself and your team why you’re doing what you’re doing. Why not revisit this from Simon Sinek.
