Will you refill your tank over Christmas?
Whatever your role in life…Mum, Dad, Sister, Son, friend, or CEO, this is about leading yourself well so you can consistently help others over the long term.
Keep it simple.
What fills your tank?
What energises you?
Write it down.
Then consider this: How much of your week do you spend doing these things?
Ask someone close to you to do the same task, then share, listen, and put it into action, cheering each other on.

Will you create any New Year’s resolutions?
It’s getting to that time of year again: New Year’s resolutions.
But so often they don’t last.
Consider this quote from James Clear, author of Atomic Habits:
”The ultimate form of intrinsic motivation is when a habit ecomes part of your identity. It’s one thing to say I’m the type of person who wants this. It’s something very different to say I’m the type of person who is this.”
So, start with this: who will you become in 2025?
Focus your “bullseye” on your identity before focussing on your goals.
This might take a little more time now, but it is worth it in the long run.
Will you focus on the positives?
Have you had a setback this week?
Has something happened within your family circle?
Maybe someone in your team is making life difficult?
The challenge for all of us is to look for the positives. No seriously, they will be there.
Former Premier League manager Nigel Pearson is currently learning to work again, however he had this to say recently:
“Although my prognosis is still uncertain, believe me that positivity and laughter can prove the best medicine. There is always light somewhere ahead - new possibilities, new challenges.”
Write down the situation.
Now write down three positives you can focus on.
P.S. Wishing you a very happy Christmas and 2025 from the team at Stakka
