Will you turn pressure into purpose?
More ideas, insight, and inspiration.

Will you name the pressure before it names you?
Pressure is part of leadership. Results, expectations, finances, selection decisions, family needs and future plans can all sit on your shoulders.
When pressure goes unnamed, it often leaks out as irritability, avoidance or control.
What you can name, you can begin to lead.
Insight: Self-awareness turns pressure from something hidden into something workable.
Explore: Ask yourself: “What pressure am I carrying that others may not see?”
Challenge: Write down your top three pressures this week and identify one practical next step for each.
Will you remember who you want to be under pressure?
Pressure can narrow your view until winning, fixing or surviving becomes the only goal.
But leadership is not only measured by outcomes. It is also revealed in your tone, choices and character when things are hard.
Your values matter most when they are hardest to live out.
Insight: Purpose gives pressure somewhere useful to go.
Explore: Complete this sentence: “When pressure rises, I want people to experience me as…”
Challenge: Choose one value you will practise deliberately in a pressured moment this week.
Will you help others carry pressure well?
People around you may be carrying more than they are saying. Athletes may fear mistakes. Staff may feel stretched. Children may be navigating pressure you cannot immediately see.
Strong leaders do not remove every challenge. They help people feel supported enough to face it.
Pressure becomes healthier when people do not feel alone in it.
Insight: Support and challenge belong together.
Explore: Ask someone: “What feels heavy at the moment, and what would help?”
Challenge: Create one safe space this week for someone to be honest about pressure without being judged or fixed too quickly.
