Will You Lead Yourself With Presence?
The present is where your influence, peace, and connection live.
But it’s easy to rush past the moment you’re actually in.
Ask yourself:
Where do I find myself most distracted?
What moments do I want to notice more (but don’t)?
Which habits or devices keep pulling me out of “now”?
Challenge:
Pick one moment today, whether a conversation, a meal, or a walk and give it your full attention.
Phone down. Mind still. No multitasking.
Practice presence like it's a performance skill, because it is.

Will You Lead Yourself With Perspective?
The future still needs your focus. Your team, your family, your mission all depend on it.
But future-thinking isn’t just strategy, it’s stewardship.
Ask yourself:
What three things truly matter this week, next week, next month?
What am I mentally carrying that I could instead calendar or plan for?
Am I letting tomorrow’s unknowns steal today’s joy?
Challenge:
Schedule 30 minutes this week just for forward-thinking, vision, reflection, or planning.
Don’t do it “on the go.”
Give it space so it doesn’t hijack your present.

Your team and family watch how you balance today’s demands with tomorrow’s goals. When you model this tension well, you give others permission to do the same, without guilt.
Ask yourself:
Am I expecting others to always be “on,” or am I helping them build rhythms of rest and reflection?
Do I reward only the outcomes, or do I value thoughtful pacing and process?
How often do I invite my team or family into the “why” behind the plan, not just the “what”?
Challenge:
This week, ask your team or family one simple question: “What’s one thing you need this week to balance today and tomorrow well?”Then act on it. The smallest shift could make the biggest difference in their wellbeing and performance
